Goldfilled jewelry - News and new handmade jewelry designs

Gold filled (or goldfilled, rolled gold) is is basically gold, filled with base metal, typically brass or silver. A relatively thick layer of gold is bonded by heat and pressure to the base metal and form an exterior layer that looks and behaves as gold and wouldn't wear off under normal use and care of goldfilled jewelry. We use 14K/20 Goldfilled in our designs, namely 14K Gold forming the external 5% of the metal. Gold filled is an excellent sustitution for for gold at a fraction of its cost.
We still meet with (or receive email from) customers that are reluctant from buying gold filled jewelry. For those of you who belong to this group, and for all the others, we present here a new jewelry collection, where gold filled is the primary metal in the jewelry design.

Sarit, together with 6 other Israeli jewelry designers, has won a commerce tender by the Tel-Aviv municipality for opening a jewelry gallery at the "Namal" (port) area to the north of Tel-Aviv beach. The "7-designers" jewelry gallery is expected to be open to the public by the beginning of Mars 06.
